Ben Boehm

Chair

Welcome! I retired from the Air Force in 2022, after 23 years of active duty. I earned an undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering from MIT, as well as an MBA from Colorado State and master’s degrees from Air University and the Naval War College.

While on active duty, I was a program manager, engineer, aircraft maintenance officer, and legislative fellow. In retirement, I enjoy spending time with my family and volunteering, including serving as an EMT with Box 21 Rescue, coaching the Oakwood Junior High Math Team, and serving as the president of the Dayton Rowing Foundation.

I also spend a lot of time training for rowing competitions. I believe in the work Valor Therapeutics is doing and that more veterans and first responders can benefit from their services.

RoseAnn Howell

Treasurer

Hi there! I’m RoseAnn, a native of Wisconsin and lifetime Packers fan.

After graduating high school, I attend Cedarville University where I earned a BA in Accounting. Since graduation, I have worked as an Accountant at Heapy Engineering Inc. The Miami Valley is my home.

I enjoy jogging, reading, baking and spending time with my family that includes three teenagers.

My grandparents and several close friends have served in the military and as first responders. For this reason, I want to see Valor Therapeutics succeed to meet the unseen mental health needs that come from a career of service.

Cathryn McBrayer

Board

Hi! I grew up in Beavercreek and graduated from Beavercreek High School, then went on to earn a BS in Fashion & Interior Merchandising from The Ohio State University.

Currently, I work for a sportswear company based out of Colorado and still live in the Miami Valley area. Travel, baking, being outdoors and spending time with my two amazing children brings me joy.

Throughout my adult life, I have seen untreated post-traumatic stress break up families within the first responder community. For this reason I believe in the mission of Valor Therapeutics and will work to support its success providing alternative treatment to first responders and veterans.
